Introduction to SVHC testing
SVHC: Substance of Very High Concern, a substance of high concern. It is a general term for a large class of hazardous substances under REACH regulations. SVHC includes a series of highly hazardous substances such as carcinogenicity, teratogenicity, reproductive toxicity and bioaccumulation.
The main purpose of article SVHC test is to determine whether the single SVHC mass in the article/article mass exceeds 0.1%, and then transmit the SVHC information in the article to the recipient/consumer. Steps:
1) list the BOM (bill of materials) of the items.
2) Know the SVHC content of each material.
3) Accumulate the same SVHC in different materials.
4)SVHC quality/article quality
5) Give the evaluation conclusion (it is best to attach an evaluation report).
